The Mountain Mist Trail gives you a good opportunity to explore the region known as the Highland Rim. The trail travels through the hollow just below the area known as the Overlooks. It’s a pleasant walk through hardwood forest. This loop was created by combining several routes: the North and South Plateau trails, the Stone Cuts Trail, and the Mountain Mist Trail.
